MATERIAL X RHYTHM The R&D Center’s scope includes architectural and interior design for a large space dedicated to the creation of the sports brand’s most advanced models using robotics and automation. The brand spaces reflect the concepts of material and rhythm as integral to one another, and this duality becomes the underlying theme for all design decisions. The starkness of the spaces are contrasted by the softness of the brand’s most common material: fabric of all types and colors. Light is very carefully manipulated in order to reduce workplace glare and heat, but also to highlight the products that this architecture-machine creates.
